Pam Makin
Pam Makin lives and works on Kaurna land. She is often seen behind the microphone on stages across the Adelaide poetry network. Except on Tuesdays, when she volunteers, front of house, at Barossa Regional Gallery.
In 2018, Pam did the unthinkable and gave up her day job to focus on writing. She has since distinguished herself as a writer, poet and spoken word artist. Her poems and stories have been published in print and online. She has participated in open mics, competed in slams, and performed at events and in Adelaide Fringe shows. Pam’s writing has won awards both locally and internationally.
Pam has written and collaborated with artists over decades on various projects. She is always up for a project that looks to do something a little quirky and break new ground.
