The Barossa Arts Council is an incorporated voluntary organisation.

Our purpose for the Barossa community is to:

ADVOCATE and advance the Barossa Region’s art culture and the holistic benefits of arts to the community
DEVELOP and actively support links between artists and the community- increasing communication and conversation
INFORM artists and members of art related events
DRIVE projects that encourage community participation in arts activities
SEEK funding for innovative, creative projects
ADDRESS arts resource and activity gaps
ENHANCE the work of a range of community art groups and auspice funding applications

In response to these objectives we hold 4-6 committee meetings each year. Guests are always welcome at these meetings. If you’re interested just send us an email.

We work with many artists and organisations across the Barossa responding to expressed or experienced gaps in art experiences. To achieve this especially when our actions require an event to be arranged, requires funding. Membership helps us to achieve this.

Membership is July to June.
