The Elder Conservatorium of Music’s Open Music Academy, University of Adelaide, is proud to bring high quality music education experiences to students and communities across South Australia.
In this special partnership with the Barossa Campus, Country Arts SA and Regional Development Australia the Open Music Academy is offering a unique opportunity for students and community members in the Barossa region to learn performance skills from the Australian String Quartet, Arcadia Winds and guest artist, Stephen Newton, Double Bass. This free half-day workshop offers opportunities to participate in or observe focused coaching sessions, masterclasses and performances at the Barossa Campus with some of Australia’s finest chamber musicians. This event will be facilitated by Associate Professor Elizabeth Koch AM, Head of Woodwind at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide.
