In collaboration with the Barossa Community Labyrinth Committee, I will be co-facilitating this exciting newly created workshop at the Barossa Bushgardens!
Since this is the 'Workshop Pilot' all proceeds will go towards the completion of the labyrinth - to smooth it's surface, making it disability and user friendly for future events and ongoing use.
'Art of the Labyrinth' Workshop Pilot - what to expect:
-An introduction to the Labyrinth, it's history, symbolism and benefits for wellbeing
-An introduction to Art Therapy
-A facilitated Labyrinth walk
-A facilitated art therapy experiential, based on the Labyrinth experience, unpacking your own personal meanings
-An opportunity to share insight within a safe space over afternoon tea and light refreshments provided
Following Mental Health Week, this initial workshop is aimed at people who work within the fields of mental health, wellbeing and community service as a way to introduce new modalities and inspiration.
No art skills necessary, all art materials provided.
Exclusive to up to 8 participants so please get in quick to secure your spot. We will require the $75 fee to be paid upfront to confirm your booking. Please contact Tara Kate Therapeutic Arts via the page or call 0411715181 to book or ask any questions.
*As the facilitated walk is based outdoors, please be mindful of weather conditions. If we are unable to create art outside, we will move into a space inside. If the weather is not appropriate at all, the event may need to be rescheduled.
