SEGRA, Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia, is inviting interested filmmakers to participate in the SEGRA 2016 Short Film Festival to promote the people, place and productivity of regional Australia.
The theme provides the opportunity to construct a 90 second film highlighting who/what makes your community naturally stronger and why. The winner will be decided on the best in cinematic storytelling, judging each film on the strength of its story. The winner will receive $1,000 and the runner-up will receive $500 from Bendigo Bank.
RDA Barossa would like to support local emerging filmmakers interested in submitting a short film for this competition by paying the entry fee. To be eligible for this support entries need to be submitted to the RDA by 15 September and you need to be located in the Barossa, Gawler, Light or Mallala regions.
The short film competition is open to anyone who wishes to enter - regardless of their background or experience. All shortlisted films will be on show on the big screen and the winner will be announced at the SEGRA 2016 conference in Albany from 26-28 October.
Contact Sue at email@example.com if you are interested in RDA support.
