Landscape Photography has been and still is Peter's passion. During the early years that passion was directed at recording his personal, family life and events as they unfolded. The transition from amateur to professional photographer was achieved by becoming a member of the AIPP and by reaching the standards set down by the Australian Institute of Professional photographers.
During this time, Peter has won a number of awards, bestowed upon him by his peers in recognition of his professional level of skill. As a professional photographer and a member of the AIPP. He is expected to attend training and development to maintain his professional status. Initially his focus and artistic creativity was on capturing our superb Australian Landscape, he has now extended his range of skills and expertise to include , portraiture and commercial work, so much so that he now has a modern up to date studio and gallery situated in the beautiful township of Lyndoch in the glorious Barossa Valley. He enjoys the challenge of managing all aspects of the photographic process, from the capture of the image, to the printing and then the creation of a fine piece of artwork. He views his photography as a very creative process continually evolving.
My style is an evolving piece of work, but always trying to capturing the landscape as we see it before us then creating a piece of art. At the moment I am focusing on soft pastels and Black and White.
