LISE TEMPLE
Lise is best known for her semi-abstract landscapes, inspired by the colours, light and broad shapes of the agricultural landscape. Her paintings document the experience of viewing the landscape whilst moving through time.
Lise's art practice encompasses a diverse range of subjects, mainly executed in thick, textured oils. Favourite subjects include vineyards, the Flinders Ranges and canola fields. She moves between degrees of abstraction, producing works of pure abstraction through to realism, & in-between.
After years of visiting and exhibiting in the Barossa, in 2019 Lise has moved to the Valley to practice her art and raise her kids.
